Renovation Translation: Snagging

Snagging is the process of identifying and fixing small issues once the main construction work is complete. These are usually minor things — paint touch-ups, small gaps in joinery, doors that need adjusting, fixtures that need tightening.
A snagging list is created so the builder or contractor can work through and resolve any remaining details before the project is fully signed off. It's a completely normal part of the renovation process, and it's how you make sure everything is finished to the standard you expect.
