Interior Designer in Bristol — Creating homes that feel like you
Professional Interior design for Bristol homes
If you're living in a Bristol home that doesn't quite feel like yours yet — maybe it's a period conversion with good bones but no personality, or a space that's been neglected while life got busy — you're not alone. I work with Bristol couples who have strong taste, clear ideas about how they want to live, and absolutely no patience for generic interiors or the stress of managing a renovation themselves.
That's where I come in.
Why a Bristol-based designer matters
Bristol homes have character. Whether it's a Victorian terrace in Southville, a Clifton period conversion, a converted warehouse in Stokes Croft, or a Georgian townhouse in Redland — each one has its own story. What works in a show home won't work here. You need someone who understands Bristol's architecture, its neighbourhoods, and what makes these homes liveable rather than just beautiful.
I'm based near Bristol, grew up here, went to School here and I've spent years working across the city. I know which period details are worth preserving, how colour works in period rooms with high ceilings and sash windows, and how to make a space feel collected and lived-in rather than decorated. That matters.
My clients consistently say: "We finally feel like this is us." Not because I imposed a look on them. Because I listened to what they wanted, understood their lives, and made thoughtful choices they wouldn't have made on their own — but absolutely would have chosen, given time and expertise.
What Happens When You Work With Me
You won't spend weeks researching suppliers or texting photos of fabric samples to your partner at work. You won't wonder if the colour you've chosen is right, or if you're making expensive mistakes. You won't feel the weight of managing contractors and keeping a project on track while holding down your actual life.
Instead, you'll get:
One point of contact. I handle the complexity — the sourcing, the specifications, the coordination with trades. You get updates, not problems.
Decisions made with confidence. Every choice (colour, material, layout, proportion) is made with your home and your life in mind. You trust it because it's been thought through.
Time back. The hours you'd spend researching finishes, visiting showrooms, comparing quotes — that's mine to handle. Your evenings and weekends are yours again.
A home that's actually yours. Not trendy. Not designed to impress. Designed to feel like where you belong, with the character and colour and soul that reflects how you actually live.
I work with Bristol clients at three levels:
Full Interior Design Service — I handle everything from space planning to final installation. You live in your home while I manage the process. Best for: full renovations, homes that need a complete refresh, clients who want zero stress.
Designer Half-Day Consultation — I spend a focused session in your home, look at what you're working with, and give you a clear direction, specific recommendations, and confidence to move forward. Best for: single rooms, smaller budgets, clients who want guidance but prefer to source some elements themselves.
Home Design Consultation — A discovery conversation where we talk through your vision, your space, your lifestyle. I give you honest feedback and a starting point. Best for: clients who are just beginning to think about a project.
Why Bristol Clients Choose Me
K. Clover, Southville: "I can't recommend Rebecca highly enough. She's lovely to work with and really listens. She's extremely practical and she is also very conscientious in the way she follows up to see how we are getting on."
What clients appreciate:
-
I don't push trends or a particular "look." Their style matters more than mine.
-
I understand their budget and work within it (without it feeling like compromise).
-
The process is actually enjoyable — not stressful.
-
The result surprises them. More considered, more personal, more them than they imagined possible.

A Note on "Done Properly"
One thing I hear from my clients: "We wanted it done once, done right."
They came to me because they didn't want to cut corners, redo mistakes, or settle for something that wasn't quite right.
And that's exactly what I deliver. Your home is where you spend your life. It's worth doing properly.
I'm currently welcoming new Bristol clients. If you're ready to start, get in touch.
