COLOUR
CONSULTATION
Find the perfect colours, without the overwhelm.
Choosing paint colours for your home should be exciting — not confusing.
But with hundreds of shades, tricky undertones, and lighting that changes everything, it’s easy to feel unsure where to start.
A Colour Consultation with Bailey&Co brings clarity and confidence to your decisions, helping you create a home that feels effortless, cohesive, and completely you.

A home that feels as good as it looks.
Picture walking into your home and feeling instantly at ease.
The walls, woodwork, and wallpaper work in perfect harmony.
Light shifts gently through the day, always flattering your space.
The right colours don’t just look beautiful — they transform how your home feels, giving every room a sense of calm, flow, and individuality.

Why it’s so easy to get colour wrong.
Most people spend hours comparing paint charts and testing samples — only to find the colour looks completely different once on the wall.
-
Undertones clash with flooring or fabrics.
-
Rooms feel darker, colder, or smaller than expected.
-
And what looked perfect online doesn’t translate in real life.
It’s no wonder colour choices can feel risky. My role is to take away that uncertainty so you can make confident, informed decisions — the first time.
How the consultation works.
Your Colour Consultation is relaxed, enjoyable, and completely tailored to your home.
Here’s what to expect:
-
In your home or online - For an in-person consultation, I visit your home to assess its light, architecture and existing finishes. For an online consultation, we explore your room through photographs shared beforehand and a video call, considering the same details together.
-
Design discussion - We talk through how you want your home to feel — calm, uplifting, elegant, or bold.
-
A coordinated palette for your room - Together, we’ll explore colours for your walls, ceiling, woodwork and any other agreed finishes, considering your lighting, existing furniture and the atmosphere you’d like to create.
-
Clear direction - During the consultation, I’ll explain the recommended colours and where to use them. You’re welcome to take notes as we go.

Frequently Asked Questions
What will I come away with?
You’ll come away with a coordinated colour palette and clear guidance on where to use your recommended colours. This service includes the consultation itself; a written summary is not included. If you’d like broader design advice with a written follow-up, my Designer Half-Day includes both.
What should I prepare?
For an in-person consultation, simply gather any ideas or inspiration you’d like to share. For an online appointment, I’ll ask you to send photographs of your room in natural daylight, including your flooring, furniture and fabrics, along with any colours you’re considering beforehand. A Pinterest board or a few inspiration images can also help communicate what you have in mind.
Is the consultation online or in person?
You can choose an in-person consultation in your home across Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire, or an online consultation via video call. Both offer personalised guidance to help you create a colour palette that works with your home and the way you want it to feel.
I live outside Bristol—can I still book?
Yes. I offer in-person consultations across Bristol, Bath and Gloucestershire, and online consultations for clients further afield. If you’d prefer a home visit, please get in touch to check whether I cover your location.
Will you recommend specific paint brands?
My focus is always on finding the right colours for your home, rather than limiting you to one paint brand. I use a range of trusted paint companies to curate your bespoke colour palette. If you already have a preferred brand, most colours can be closely matched to suit your preferences.
Paint colours can look different on screen and change with your room’s lighting. I recommend testing physical samples in your home before making your final choice.
